Our History
Mbozuri began its operations as a beaded jewelry business in 2009 with the business name “The Dressing Room”. As the business progressed, other interests came burgeoning, which included household supplies and food spices. In effect, the business was growing beyond the business name.
The business kept evolving and eventually waded into the skin & hair care space, partly by divine providence, fuelled by passion. Hence, in 2018, I registered a new name for the business which embraced its evolving nature. Thus Mbozuri was birthed, a strong, likeable brand with limitless appeal and integrity.

The Founder
CEO, Mrs. Vida Owusua Zumanu
Vida is a passionate & accomplished career woman with many years of experience in diverse areas of the corporate sector, where she held key positions in business development, SME business advisory, client relations, corporate affairs & projects. As an entrepreneur, she currently manages Mbozuri, a company she founded and is gradually growing into a global brand.
She is a former lecturer at the undergraduate level and a professional marketer who holds an MBA & MPhil, both in Marketing, as well as a Professional Postgraduate Certification from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, United Kingdom. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Marketing with a focus on Entrepreneurship.
Vida is also a professionally trained Cosmetic Formulator, certified by Winamzua Creative Hive (Ghana), Peach Skills Hub (Ghana) and the West Africa Competitiveness Program (WACOMP), a partnership initiative between ECOWAS & EU.
